Patriot Memory introduces the new Supersonic USB 3.0 flash drive with a native single-chip USB 3.0 controller. The new drive “delivers blazing-fast performance with its Quad-Channel technology in a miniature ultra-light form factor.” By integrating a native USB 3.0 flash memory controller, the Supersonic eliminates performance bottlenecks introduced when using a separate USB 3.0 bridge chip.
The Supersonic single-chip USB 3.0 flash drive offers up to 100MB/s read and 70MB/s write speed. It comes in 32GB and 64GB capacities. Patriot Memory will release the drive in Q1 2011.
